CHICAGO, IL, December 15, 2004 – Chicago-based Moneris Solutions is looking close to home for its corporate holiday gifts, which will now be made by the people of Lambs Farm. Additionally, Moneris will provide Lambs Farm with innovative payment processing solutions that allow visitors to use their credit cards to make purchases.
Located in Libertyville, Illinois, Lambs Farm is a Chicagoland nonprofit organization for adults with developmental disabilities, providing more than 250 participants with comprehensive residential, vocational and social support services, and welcoming more than 300,000 visitors each year to shop in their businesses, including The Pet Shop and Country Inn Restaurant. Lambs Farm offers a corporate gift catalog of customized gifts and gourmet foods that are carefully made, packaged, and shipped by the men and women they serve.
In addition to participating in the Lambs Farm corporate gift program, Moneris Solutions, one of North America’s largest electronic transaction processors, will now be Lambs Farm’s supplier of hardware, proprietary software and service/support to accept credit and debit cards. This means that when visitors purchase handmade gift items and gourmet foods from Lambs Farm, their credit card transaction is being powered by Moneris.
