Moneris Solutions® gives you access to multiple debit networks. Through Moneris Solutions® you can accept online and offline debit cards. Online purchase transactions require your customer to enter his/her personal identification number (PIN). This requires a piece of hardware known as a PIN pad.
Offline debit cards such as a Visa® Check Card or a MasterMoney® Card with the VISA® or MasterCard® logo on the front of the card can be accepted just like a Visa® or MasterCard®. No PIN or PIN pad is needed.
Accepting debit cards for payment enables you to provide your customers additional flexibility and payment options.
